Stop and look at this design!

 This is something we see everyday, it is designed to send a clear message fast. As you know, every stop sign looks the same, the color and shape was all specifically designed. Red sticks out and is alerting and the shape of an octagon is very distinct. If you just saw the shape of an octagon most of us would think "stop sign".
